The Cyprus Health Tourism Council, which participated in the world health, sports and alternative tourism congress fair together with sector representatives under the umbrella of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, signed new agreements with more than 20 countries with the aim of bringing 5 Million Euros to the TRNC.
According to the statement made by the Health Tourism Council, the organization, which was held for the second time this year in Antalya under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with the participation of more than 5 thousand procurement delegations from 165 countries, was attended by the President of the Council, Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. Tayyip Erdoğan. Ahmet Savaşan, Board Member Dr. Remzi Gardiyanoğlu, International Agreements Legal Advisor Attorney Hasan Özyiğit and Russian Countries Coordinator Madina Gumarova participated. In the same statement, it was stated that Savaşan and the accompanying delegation participated in B2B meetings that continued for two days and signed 20 new agreements by meeting separately with more than 40 country representatives.

Underlining that Northern Cyprus also had the opportunity to promote its health, sports and alternative tourism opportunities in the most effective way in the international organization held in Antalya with the target of 50 thousand bilateral business meetings and a trade volume of 20 billion TL, Dr. Dr. Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, He said that new agreements were signed with countries in Europe, Russia, the Far East and the Middle East.

Emphasizing that the agreements include sending health tourists from abroad to hospitals, clinics and hotels that are members of the Cyprus Health Tourism Council, Savaşan said, “Thanks to the agreements made, we aim to send 1000 new health tourists to Northern Cyprus in areas such as plastic surgery, IVF, dental, cardiac, radiotherapy, wellness and healthy living villages.”.
